Our Club is in a unique position in that it borders 2 counties. Geographically we are situated in South Cambridgeshire but our post code is associated with Hertfordshire. The good part about this is that we can choose to enter either the Hertfordshire or the Cambridgeshire League. Of course, the down-side is that we have a long way to travel to the northern parts of Cambridgeshire and the southern parts of Hertfordshire.

However, once again we entered a Mixed, Ladies Doubles and Mens Doubles team into the Annual Cambridge LTA Summer League. Two pairs make up the team. One pair is nominated as the 1st pair and the other is the 2nd pair. Each pair plays 2 sets against each of the opposing team’s pairs. The great thing about this league is that it is possible to have a draw with 4 sets all. At the end of the season, all the sets and games are tallied up across all the Clubs and this establishes who is at the top of the league and who is at the bottom – simple.
